Po Leung Kuk Dr. Stanley Ho Memorial Fund - Student Support Scheme is established in the fiscal year of 2020 / 2021 by Ms. Daisy C F Ho, Chairman of Po Leung Kuk, in memory of her late father Dr. Stanley Ho. Adhering to Dr. Stanley Ho’s lifelong dedication to philanthropy, the Fund comprises a generous personal donation from Ms. Daisy Ho and memorial contributions from various sectors of the society.
Your participation is important for Po Leung Kuk to carry out relief work in the community. By putting your love into action by donating to Po Leung Kuk Charity Fund for the Disadvantaged, you can help to provide temporary financial assistance to individuals and families in need.
Provide financial assistance to cancer patients who require chemotherapy in the expenses on travelling, escorting services when receiving treatments in hospitals or buying nutrients, etc.
The Po Leung Kuk Medical Assistance Fund aims to provide financial assistance to patients waitlisted at public medical facilities for self-financing surgery or advance investigation, and to buy medicine or equipment if they are not eligible for the Samaritan Fund or Community Care Fund. Patients who are recommended by government hospitals to receive surgery or treatment outside of Hong Kong can also apply for the fund. The fund aims to benefit patients who can completely or to a very large extent be cured.
The Wang Family Charity Fund is established in the financial year of 2016 – 2017 with the donation from the Wang’s family.
In view of the predicament of the disadvantaged in Hong Kong, donors establish the fund with the wish to provide emergency financial assistance and enhance the living standard of the families, especially the elderly and children, who are in lack of support or in crisis.
The Po Leung Kuk Shiu Kin Charitable Fund provides financial assistance to people from poor families who are suffering from adversities (such as death, accidents, disasters or emergency operations) or have an urgent need for medicine, rehabilitative devices and other materials (such as wheelchairs, walking frames and bathroom aids).
