Scope- For low-income families who are required to rent a separate abode due to urban renewal, private acquisition, removal orders or other emergency. Applicants may be entitled to a maximum of $10,000 for each application.
- For low-income families who need to improve their home safety. Applicants may be entitled to a maximum of $6,000 for each application.
- For low-income families who need to provide temporary relief facing sudden life changes, accidents or special difficulties. Applicants may be entitled to a maximum of $6,000 for each application.
- Each beneficiary is entitled to the grant once within 5 years.

Referring Agencies- Referred by registered social workers of Po Leung Kuk units, governmental departments (e.g. Social Welfare Department), statutory organizations (e.g. the Hospital Authority) or non profit making organizations.
