“Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)” continues its global rampage. Hong Kong’s economy and people’s livelihoods have been hard-hit and the unemployment rate keeps rising, imposing heavy financial burdens on grassroots families and the underprivileged. Po Leung Kuk, as one of the largest charitable organisations in Hong Kong, is committed to walk alongside with the people of Hong Kong by providing attentive and uninterrupted services throughout more than 300 units strategically located in Hong Kong. The launching of the “Boundless Compassion．Solidarity in Action” COVID-19 Response Programme has also provided timely support to the underprivileged so as to cushion their urgent needs during this difficult times. The Programme includes offering free food packs, hot meals and nutrition packs to the low-income or jobless needy and grassroots families; carrying out free Chinese medical consultation services and providing educational assistance for grassroots students. Over 160,000 service attendances have been benefitted so far.

An online charity wine auction will be held by Po Leung Kuk aiming at raising funds to keep up the efforts in combating this health crisis and support the post-pandemic works. Your benevolent support is needed now more than ever to make a difference for the vulnerable communities!

You can also support the needy by donating HK$350, it will enable a needy (including elderly, person in with low-income or jobless) to receive food packs/ hot meals for a week. For $35,000 donation, it support 100 people in need and so forth.
