Details
The school held a " Parent-child Dumpling Making activity" on 23rd May,2025. Parents were invited to volunteers at the school and make rice dumplings with students from all classes.
Parents' Performance:
The response from parents was enthusiastic, with 14 parents registering and participating. They actively guide their children and students to make rice dumplings. Parents taught students about the different ingredients and invited the children to scoop various ingredients on rice dumpling sheets and join in making rice dumplings. The children not only enjoyed the unique experience of making rice dumplings, but also took the dumplings home to share with their families during the Dragon Boat Festival.
Parents' response:
100% of pariticipated parents agreed that the activity built parent-child relationships and promoted home-school collaboration. Parents thoroughly enjoyed making rice dumplings with their children and students. The process also allowed parents to get to know each other and share experiences, establishing a parent support network.
