As young children grow up, they are curious about everything around them and tend to ask questions about everything including their own bodies. In view of the growth and development needs of young children, our school held a parent-child sex education story-sharing activity on 28/3/2025. The Education Director of the Hong Kong Family Planning Guidance Association came to the school to hold a parent-child sex education story-sharing activity to increase parents' understanding of the promotion of children's sex education, so that young children can learn how to protect themselves, and at the same time let parents learn methods and skills to instill sex education knowledge in their children.
Part 1:
Social workers lead children to recognize the different parts of their body and their functions, as well as their private parts, to distinguish between good and bad contact, and to respect other people’s bodies.
Part 2:
Young children choose clothes in different places and understand that they need to wear appropriate clothes to protect themselves in different occasions.
Part 3:
Young children understand how to say no to bad contact and how to ask for help when they encounter bad contact.
