Po Leung Kuk Child Development Centre
1. Service Overview
Child Development Centre was establised in 2013, it is a self-financed service centre. To address the various developmental needs of children and their families, a multi-disciplinary team (including Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Clinical Psychologist / Educational Psychologist,Social Worker, and Special Child Care Worker) provides assessments and training to enhance the overall development of the children and parenting skill. Also, it is hoped to facilitate the public understanding towards special educational needs through the community education.

All-round Developmental Services for Children
- Developmental and training programs (E.g. : Self-care, Life Skills, Emotional and Executive Functions)
Special Learning Support Services
- Training subsidy programme for children on the waiting list of subvented pre-school rehabilitation services (TSP)
- Professional assessment conducted by Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist and Clinical Psychologist / Educational Psychologist
- Individual and group therapy
Parent/Carer Support Services
- Parenting talks and workshop
Out-reaching Support Services*
