Mainland Affairs Officer (內地事務主任) (Half-time)

We invite high caliber personnel to fill the following half-time positions. We may offer a full-time position on Policy Research and Liaison Officer to candidate with demonstrated expertise in policy research and Mainland liaison.

 

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate should ideally possess all of the following attributes:

  • Monitoring and analyzing Mainland China policies, industry trends, legislation, and funding related to Po Leung Kuk’s service delivery;
  • Acting as a key contact and fostering strong relationships with Mainland China stakeholders (government, NGOs, academic institutions);
  • Identifying and exploring collaboration opportunities with Mainland partners;
  • Supporting the organization's strategic development and expansion of influence through effective liaison and collaboration with Mainland China; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the superior(s) from time to time.

 

Our Requirements:

The appointee should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

  • Bachelor's degree holder, preferably in Public Administration, Policy Studies or a related discipline;
  • At least 3 years of program development experience, of which experience in working with Mainland China stakeholders is highly preferable;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, project management and relationship-building skills; and
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.

 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to various fringe benefits.
