The Simon K.Y. Lee Foundation — Caregiver Support Project 2.0
Po Leung Kuk received funding from the Simon K.Y. Lee Foundation for the Caregiver Support Project 2.0. Jointly organised by the Simon K.Y. Lee Foundation, the Department of Social and Behavioural Sciences at City University of Hong Kong, and Saint Francis University, this evidence-based and academic programme addresses the needs of caretakers, and benefits the elderly services and community care services of the Kuk. It provides scientific assessments and appropriate services for caretakers in need.
The Caregiver Support Project 2.0 implements the 1-year Caregiver Support Model (CSM) and the 2-year Psycho-education Programme on Empowerment (PP-E) for carers. It provides support to caretakers in both case and group formats, offering professional advice and knowledge about elderly care.
