The establishment of Youth Affairs Department

Po Leung Kuk has all along attached great importance to youth work. Over the years, we have provided diverse development opportunities for young people through various services and innovative approaches. These include community center services, school-based services, youth entrepreneurship services, career planning and financial education services, media services, arts and culture services, as well as youth hostel project.

In order to further focus on the development of youth services and highlight our commitment to youth work. On November 1, 2023 Po Leung Kuk officially separated the Children and Youth Services from Social Services Department and established the Youth Affairs Department.

The Youth Affairs Department will continue to assist young people in their growth and development, cater to their various needs, and promote their active participation in social services.

We welcome individuals and organisations from all sectors to connect with our "Youth Affairs Department" and work together to harness the power of youth and create more possibilities for the development of young people.
