Wang Family Charity Fund — “The Flying Dreams V”

The Wang Family Charity Fund was established with a donation from Mr Samuel WANG, son of Mrs WANG TAN Han Feng, Vice-Chairman of the Kuk (1971–72), to provide emergency financial relief for individuals or families, especially the elderly and children, who are facing sudden changes or serious illnesses and lacking support, so as to improve their quality of life. Committed to supporting the grassroots and disadvantaged groups, the donor enriched the charity fund this year with another generous donation to help more people in need.

During the year, the fund granted a special subsidy to “The Flying Dreams V” Child Development Fund Project, a 3-year initiative that has incented the participating mentees to not only establish good saving habits but also equip themselves and realise their goals and dreams with matching donations. Moreover, the project has benefited a total of 230 recipients including 115 participating grassroots children and their families.
