With the support from CLP Power since 2014, CLP Hotmeal Canteens has been providing nutritious hot meals to low-income families, the unemployed and the needy elderly in Kwai Tsing, Kwun Tong and Sham Shui Po which the meal is designed by dieticians and at discounted prices. Besides, the canteens also provide special meals for the needy, such as minced and diabetic meals, to cater for the beneficiaries with dietary and nutritional needs.

In May 2023, CLP provided a total of 2,900 free nutritious meals to eligible beneficiaries of the CLP Hotmeal Canteens in celebrating its milestone of serving over million nutritious meals to the community. Apart from sponsoring the Canteen’s operation, CLP volunteers regularly visit service users at the Canteens and organise themed activity days, helping them expand social network and showing love and care to them.
