Since 2014, the Kuk has been funded by CLP Power to provide affordable and nutritional hot meals, that are designed by nutritionists, for the elderly in the community and those in need at four CLP Hotmeal Canteens located in Kwai Tsing, Kwun Tong and Sham Shui Po. The Canteens maintained services under the pandemic and distributed take-away hot meals to individuals in need. CLP Power also donated over 2,000 care packs to the elderly through the Canteens and Enhanced Home and Community Care Services of the Kuk.
