Since 2014, CLP Power has been partnering with Po Leung Kuk to provide CLP Hotmeal Canteen service in Sham Shui Po, Kwun Tong and Kwai Tsing. The 3 canteens provide affordable nutritious hot meals to low-income families and elderly in need. While caring for their health, it also helps to allevuate their financial burden.
Hot meal menus are designed by nutritionists, catering for different dietary needs such as dysphagia (swallowing difficulty) and diabetes.
The Canteens also offer various volunteer activities to strengthen social connections for those in need, including themed events and social activities.
