Po Leung Kuk Introduced Two New Chinese Medicine Mobile Clinics to Safeguard the Health of the Public

(20 April 2021, Hong Kong) In view of the ageing population and the grassroots’ rising needs for affordable and quality medical services, Po Leung Kuk continues to expand and optimise its medical services under its vision on ‘MedSoLink’. The Kuk recently received a generous donation of two brand new Chinese Medicine Mobile Clinics and funds for two ancillary services from the Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited. Together with the Kuk’s four Chinese Medicine Mobile Clinics which commenced operation in early years, service coverage has been scaled up across 34 housing estates and districts in Hong Kong, expecting to benefit 30,000 service attendances a year. In response to the public demands, the Kuk also provides evening clinics or weekends full-day medical consultation services in certain locations to facilitate the office workers in needs of seeking medical care.
