Special Schools Touch Rugby Competition

Special Needs Touch Rugby Coaching organized by Hong Kong Rugby Union has been started in February 2017 in two of our Special Schools – Po Leung Kuk Yu Lee Mo Fan Memorial School and Po Leung Kuk Anita LL Chan (Centenary) School. Though the students have got only a few training sessions, they showed great interests in the training sessions and took up the basic skills shortly after. The great effort, perseverance and patience of the professional coaches should be highly appreciated and commended, so do all the PE teachers like Mr. Roy Chan and Ms. Tse in PLK Yu Lee Mo Fan Memorial School and Mr. Wong, Mr. Lee and Mr. Cheng of PLK Anita LL Chan (Centenary) School.

A Special Schools Touch Rugby Competition was held on 31 March 2017 at King's Park. PLK Yu Lee Mo Fan Memorial School and PLK Anita LL Chan (Centenary) School together with Caritas Lok Jun School and TWGH's Kwan Fong Kai Chi School joined the competition. Each team included a total of 7 players with 5 students and 2 PE teachers or coaches. All the students had chances to take part in the competition and played with other opponents. Under the super care and guidance of the coaches and teachers, students had lots of fun at the rugby pitch. Their performances were amazing!
