“ Po Leung Kuk Affiliated Joint Primary Rugby Team” Congrats! Cup of 2017 National Youth Rugby Championship & the Plate 2nd Runners up in Beijing

This year, the Hong Kong Rugby Union helped our affiliated primary schools to form our first Joint Rugby Team. Elite students with potentials were selected from various primary schools to form two teams (a combination of male and female students). These students, after undergoing professional trainings, participated in the National Youth Rugby Championships from 18 to 21 May 27 which was held in Beijing.

On 20 May 2017, the competition was really tough, but our team spirit was high, and both our teams were able to beat their rivals and managed to capture the Cup championship and the Plate 2nd Runners up. Our team members all agreed that this is undoubtedly an forgettable experience as well as an invaluable lesson they have ever had.
