Assistant Principal Social Services Secretary (Governance and Coordination)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the overall administration, development and delivery of welfare services, ensuring alignment with the Kuk objectives;
  • Initiate and participate in policy formulation related to Social Services Department operations;
  • Coordinate, monitor and regularly review the implementation of service units in compliance with Social Welfare Department requirements;
  • Liaise and maintain effective communication with various stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with internal departments on personnel and financial matters;
  • Develop and implement information technology strategies to support departmental administrative functions.

 

Requirements:

  • Possess a recognised university degree or above, with a preferred be in Accounting and Finance, or Corporate Administration and Management;
  • Have at least 10 years of relevant management experience, with strong administrative acumen, high efficiency, excellent analytic and organizational skills;
  • Familiarize with the Lump Sum Grant Manual, Lotteries Fund Manual, and Service Performance Monitoring System of the Social Welfare Department; and
  • Have high proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese, and with strong competency in IT software applications.
