Company Overview:

Po Leung Kuk is a well-established charitable organization in Hong Kong and has been serving the local community for 148 years.  The Kuk provides multifaceted and quality social, educational, youth, recreational, cultural services and medical and integrated health services to all ages in the community through its over 300 service units.  It attends to more than 2,700,000 visits for services per year in the past 3 years with about 45,000 students of its affiliated schools.  We are now inviting high caliber candidates to apply for the position below.

 

Assistant Corporate Communications Manager 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for organizing and managing the Kuk’s publicity campaigns, VIP visits and annual ceremonial events;
  • Plan, develop and implement effective corporate communications and promotion campaigns including defining both online and offline strategies for maximizing the brand and service awareness;
  • Manage press inquiries/interviews and lead crisis communications;
  • Coordinate the production of the annual publications;
  • Assist in leading the development and implementation of the corporate partnership and CSR-related initiatives;
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.

 

Our Requirements:

The appointee should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

 

  • University degree holder in Communication/ Public Relations/ Marketing or relevant discipline with at least 5 years' relevant experience;
  • Experience in NGO is highly preferred but not essential;
  • Self-motivated, good team player, creative, able to work independently and meet deadlines;
  • Strong media background with proven media relations experience;
  • Proven event planning and execution experience;
  • Excellent command of Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English;
  • Proficient in Chinese word processing, MS Office.
