Po Leung Kuk is a well-established charitable organization in Hong Kong and has been serving the local community for 147 years.  The Kuk provides multifaceted and quality social, educational, youth, recreational, cultural services and medical and integrated health services to all ages in the community through its over 300 service units.  It attends to more than 2,700,000 visits for services per year in the past 3 years with about 45,000 students of its affiliated schools.  We are now inviting high caliber candidates to apply for the position below.

We invite high caliber personnel to apply for the following position:

Project Officer (Ref: PO)

Po Leung Kuk Education Affairs Department has launched a project of implementing positive education in our primary schools from 2024 to 2027. The successful candidates will be required to:

• Participate in school visits and positive education trainings
• Assist in organizing meetings, preparing minutes, correspondence, reports and training materials, developing publication materials
• Liaise with schools and other stakeholders on publicity and event execution
• Work close with Educational Psychologists
• Undertake other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in NGO or school administrative work will be an advantage
• Relevant experience in event management will be an advantage
• A good level of computer literacy
• Proficiency in using Word, Chinese Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Zoom
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
