Job Summary

We are seeking an AI Assistant Manager to oversee AI project development, deployment, and management. The ideal candidate excels in gathering user requirements, translating them into AI features, and coordinating with vendors and teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables. Familiarity with AI models is essential. With a focus on innovation and basic security, this role enhances customer support, operations, and technologies at Po Leung Kuk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with vendors and teams to design, implement, and optimize AI assistants (e.g., chatbots, smart recruitment tools, and internet news search systems).
• Gather and analyze stakeholder requirements, then translate them into AI functions and features.
• Oversee AI integration into business processes to ensure seamless functionality and user experience.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and quality standards in collaboration with teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align AI strategies with business and security goals.
• Monitor performance metrics, feedback, and system health. Implement improvements and ensure scalability.
• Train and fine-tune AI models to achieve better accuracy and reliability.
• Stay updated on AI trends, tools, and security practices. Train end users as needed.
• Assist in developing AI security protocols, including data encryption, access controls, and compliance with GDPR, PDPO (Hong Kong), and ISO 27001.
• Participate in security audits and risk analyses to identify threats, such as data breaches or adversarial attacks.
• Handle AI security incident responses and contribute to disaster recovery plans；and
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Our Requirements:

The appointee should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in AI development, with 2+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience in AI project management using Agile methodologies, including vendor and team coordination.
• Hands-on experience with AI systems, such as chatbots or virtual assistants.
• Knowledge of semantic search and retrieval, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology, AI agent orchestration frameworks, LLMs (e.g., DeepSeek, Google Gemini, ChatGPT, Grok), APIs, and databases.
• Proficiency in Figma for user journey maps and process flow diagrams is a bonus.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks/languages (e.g., Python, Java, R), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and AI model training.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Six Sigma, Scrum Master) highly preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for collaboration with stakeholders, users, vendors, and functional teams.
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese, or Mandarin is a plus.
• Good team player who is eager to adopt new technologies.
