Key responsibilities:

• Work with Board of Directors, CEO and DCEO to formulate sustainable fund-raising strategy of the organization to meet the organization's goals;
• Lead the fund-raising team to plan and execute fund-raising programmes, and to foster a collaborative and result-oriented culture;
• Collaborate with Corporate Communication & PR Department for brand building strategy of the organization to engage the community and arouse public awareness;
• Extend network with potential donors and maintain sound relationships with existing patrons;
• Explore different sources of funding and cultivate opportunities to work with potential partners including corporations, government bodies, individuals etc.;
• Maintain donor management systems and track donations to analyze effectiveness of fund-raising campaigns;
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong’s fund-raising regulations including the Charities Ordinance and Social Welfare Department guidelines;
• Work with other Department Heads to prepare grant proposals and applications to fund granting bodies; and
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Our Requirements:

The appointee should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

• Degree holder with at least 10 years' relevant experience of which at least 3 years in a leadership role;
• Experience in NGO is highly preferred but not essential;
• Creative, proactive and resourceful; and
• Proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English.
