This post will assist the Head of the Property and Works Department in planning and implementation of capital works projects (new/redevelopment) among others in co-operation with relevant user departments. Major duties include, but not limited to:-

Key Responsibilities:

• Making funding applications to the relevant government departments and/or funding bodies for capital works projects;
• Preparation of feasibility study, formulation of design brief, site planning, architectural design concept and detailing, basic structural design, etc. of projects under planning;
• Selection and appointment of professional services in architecture, engineering, quantity surveying and other related areas as required;
• In co-ordination with user departments, managing professional services providers to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and effective manner and in accordance with the approved scopes, quality and budget;
• Securing all relevant approval seeking procedures in the planning and implementation stages;
• Planning, co-ordination and supervision of interior fitting-out works, renovation and property maintenance/repairs; and
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Our Requirements:

The appointee should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

• Degree holder or above in Architecture/Engineering/Building Surveying or related field;
• At least 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Hong Kong projects including at least three years’ experience in project management;
• Experience in managing social service projects funded by the government departments is an advantage;
• Qualification as an Authorized Person (A) will be an advantage; and
• Fluency in both English and Chinese languages and good communication skill.
