Responsibilities

  • Reporting to Principal Education Secretary (Pre-Primary and Primary Education), the incumbent shall follow the Po Leung Kuk’s education policy to manage Kuk’s affiliated kindergartens for provision of quality education;
  • Assist PES and work closely with principals to oversee the administration of kindergartens (including personnel, curriculum management, resource allocation, team building) to enhance school efficiency and education quality;
  • Organize inter-school and territory-wide initiatives to boost school cooperation, enhance social influence and obtain educational resources for schools; 
  • Act as School Manager for kindergartens to oversee education services and monitor the effectiveness of School Management Committees and schools;
  • Other duties as assigned by senior management.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in education;
  • At least 6 years’ experience in education or related sector; management experience in a school setting is desirable;
  • Familiar with Hong Kong’s education system and related policies, with sound knowledge about early childhood education system a plus;
  • Possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong organizational and execution power;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
