CAMP CAPACITY
|

THE PO LEUNG KUK JOCKEY CLUB TAI TONG HOLIDAY CAMP purpose-built on a lease-grant site at Yuen Long is opened for booking by the public following its official opening in 1994.
The Camp is located at the scenic "Tai Lam Country Park" with an area of about 10 hectares in natural surroundings, and is well equipped to accommodate campers for recreation, seminar, meeting, skill training workshop, adventure programmes, discipline training programmes, parent-child activities, retreat purposes, educational camp and school picnics.

RESIDENTIAL CAMP (hiring on unit basis) |
Group Hostels
There are two 3-storey bungalows, with 2 units on each floor, 14 or 18 beds (bunks) in each unit (total 12 units). Each unit is furnished with bedrooms, a sitting room with television and sofa, with self-contained toilet and bathroom. Family Hostels
There is one 3-storey bungalow, with 2 to 3 units on each floor, 6, 8 or 10 beds (some are bunks) in each unit. Each unit is furnished with bedrooms, a sitting room with television, mini fridge and sofa, with self-contained toilet and bathroom. Minimum group size of 30 persons (walk-in minimum 20 persons). Can enjoy all facilities and programmed activities, free karaoke, snooker, tennis, squash and mahjong in the camp. Set dinner / BBQ and dessert will be provided. | .

CATERING Meals and dessert are served in the dining hall and BBQ may also be arranged on a pre-order system. A selection of snacks is available at the snack bar.

Recreational Programmes Including archery shooting, trampolining, roller skating, cycling, swimming, hiking, sport climbing, physical fitness, indoor lawn bowls and gateball, art & craft, all being conducted and supervised by qualified instructors.

BOOKING GUIDE
|
1. |
Application forms can be obtain in person from the Recreational Services Department Booking Office |

|
of Po Leung Kuk at 10/F, Vicwood K.T. Chong Building, 66 Leighton Road, Hong Kong, or Jockey Club Tai Tong Holiday Camp, or by written request with self-addressed envelope, or downloaded from the Po Leung Kuk website. |
|
|
|

Bookings could be made within twelve months on a first-come-first-served basis. Three days advanced |
|
|
booking or walk-in booking are welcomed if vacancies are still available, with payments to be made immediately upon acceptance. |
|
|
|
3. |
The applicant must be Hong Kong permanent resident of 18 years of age or over. |
|
|
|
4. |
Once booking is accepted, a deposit of $20 per head for Residential Camp / Evening Camp and $10 per |
|
|
head for Day Camp / Happy Hour Camp should be paid to the Po Leung Kuk Finance Department within 10 days of confirmed acceptance. Camping period is non-changeable after confirmation. The balance of payment should be made no later than four weeks before the camping period (by crossed cheques made payable to the "Po Leung Kuk"). Bookings will be considered as automatically withdrawn and deposits will be forfeited, if balance of payment is not made within the specific time. |

5. |
For cancellation of booking on the part of the campers, camp fees are non-refundable. However, refund |
|
of meal charges may be arranged if written request is received no later than 10 days before the camping period. |
|
|
|
6. |
If Typhoon Signal No.3 or Rainstorm Black Warning Signal is hoisted, all activities will be cancelled and |
| |
full refund will be made. |
|
|
|
7. |
The camp will be closed during Chinese New Year Holidays. |
|
|
|
8. |
The Kuk reserves all rights to revoke any camping confirmation without having to give reasons. Should |
|
|
such an event take place, the hiring organization / individual will be notified at the earliest possible time and full fees paid will be refunded. |
