In addition to the various musical performances by the students of our affiliated schools, we are honored to have Mr. Yundi Li attending as the guest performer of the concert.

To raise funds for the Kuk’s multi-faceted social services, we are going to hold the Chinese New Year Charity Walk cum Green Carnival on Sunday, 12^th February, 2012 along Shing Mun River in Shatin with the kick-off ceremony to be taken place at the Shatin Racecourse at 10:30 a.m. The Walk of this year provides a good opportunity for family members and friends to contribute towards the worthwhile cause of charity while celebrating the Chinese New Year together. Participants are also encouraged to join the charity green carnival at the finishing point at Yuen Wo Playground, which aims to help promote the message of environmental conservation.

The general public, organizations and corporations are all welcome to join the Walk and celebrate CNY Festival together with a good cause!

- Saint Honore Cake Shop Limited will donate $1 towards Po Leung Kuk's Community Canteens for each new "Like" at Saint Honore's facebook fans page.

About Community Canteens:

Po Leung Kuk's Community Canteens have been in operation since January 2001 providing cheap/free hot meals to the underprivileged in Hong Kong so as to help them overcome temporary hardship arising from the unemployment and/or the rising cost of living. As at to-date, we have a total 7 Community Canteens in operation (with 2 additional ones in the pipeline) and over 700 sets of hot meals are provided a day.
