Training Idea

Based on the highly recognised US youth development concept Outward Bound, our program combines adventure activities with counselling to enhance the self-belief of young people. The approach revolves around the core elements of Adventure, Experiential Learning and Group and Individual Counselling, all of which contributes to the development of self.

Introduction of Adventure

Adventure

Under various levels of physical pressure and sense of urgency, participants will face challenges they have not yet experienced before. This enhances personal learning and increases the counselling effect.

Experiential Learning

Through the interactive learning process, participants develop through personal experiences to establish their own methodology and exercise the initiative to execute these new methods. It is a two-way process and is quite different from conventional teaching.

Small Group and Individual Counselling

By discussing their experiences amongst peers, participants can communicate effectively and confidently, and apply their newfound knowledge to mature as a responsible young person.
