Use of Donations

Donations are predominantly used to fund our social and education services units and benefit those under their care.

The breakdown of funds allocated to the social services and education services (2008/09):

Po Leung Kuk Child Sponsorship Program

Your donation will go towards:

• Upgrading the children's dormitories
• Providing essential medical care, including vaccinations
• Providing counselling services
• Developing recreational, rehabilitation and other support programs

Po Leung Kuk Care for the Elderly Fundraising Project

Your donation will go towards:

• Enhancing services for the elderly
• Enhancing facilities for the elderly
• Providing essential medical care
• Providing carer support to the elderly

Po Leung Kuk Rehabilitation Services Sponsorship Program

• Purchase and upgrade rehabilitative equipment and facilities of service units
• Subsidize rehabilitation transport services
• Subsidize medical care
• Sponsor specialized training and activities
• Assist participation in community life
